After a thumping away win against Roche La Molière their success continues
Roche La Molière suffered their second championship defeat against Servette Rugby Club de Genève. The latter further extend their winning streak with a 54-0 victory over their opposing counterparts.
Early on, the home side took a physical approach to the game, blitzing energetically and concertedly. The Servettiens were thus forced to adapt their style of play and prove patient in their attacks. With a big defensive effort from Roche la Molière, the game was still close at half – Servette only leading 14-0.
Servette began the second half in style, bringing pace and width to their game. At this point, there was very little Roche la Molière could do. After 80 minutes of play, Servette had scored a total of eight tries, seven of which were converted by an on form Jonathan Torossian.
With four wins in just as many games, the Servette Rugby Club de Genève is firmly leading Group C of the Comité du Lyonnais.
The next game will take place at the Stade de Genève on the Sunday 9th of November at 3pm against RC Abreslois XV.
We look forward to welcoming all spectators to the game and thank everyone for the tremendous support that has been shown thus far!
