Servette’s second rower (Dylan Déné) shares his impressions before the last game of the season at the Stade de Genève: “It’s our final home game of the season, so we need to showcase a high level of rugby to our fans. A victory will be vital, as it will put the team in winning spirits.”
The player also highlights the importance of the team’s conditioning before moving onto the away games. “We need to be ready from a mental standpoint: the game conditions will be different from our home games. Our fitness will also influence our mental game: they are closely linked. To mentally feel good, one must physically feel good”.
Dylan, who will also celebrate his birthday on Sunday 22 February is very eager to prepare for this last home game. “As our captain Julien Laurin underlines: we are a great group of lads with a great group dynamic and when it comes to a players’ birthday’s, the atmosphere is fantastic.”
We look forward to welcoming you to the stadium one last time and thank you for your loyalty and incredible support thus far.
